After a lot of speculations, the title of Shah Rukh Khan’s next film with Imtiaz Ali has been announced. The film underwent a lot of name changes from the Ring to Rahnuma to Raula but the title has been finalized as Jab Harry Met Sejal. Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma are playing the lead roles of Harry and Sejal respectively. The title along with the first look posters were unveiled by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, who are producing the movie.
The vibrant posters feature Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma all upbeat. The title is very much similar to the director’s 2007 film Jab We Met starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Jab Harry Met Sejal is touted to be a romantic entertainer. The movie was shot extensively in Budapest, Prague, Amsterdam, Lisbon and India. Reportedly, Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma play Punjabi and Gurajati characters respectively. The movie is expected to hit screens worldwide on August 4, this year.
KU Mohanan has cranked the camera while Aarti Bajaj is in charge of the edits. Songs in the movie are composed by Pritam and background score is handled by Abhijit Vaghani.
Jab Harry met Sejal also stars Evelyn Sharma, Sayani Gupta, Aru Krishansh Verma, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Paras Arora in supporting roles. The movie marks Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka’s third time collaboration after the romantic entertainer Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Yash Chopra’s triangular love story Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Shah Rukh also had a cameo appearance in Anushka’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil but they did not have any combination scenes.
It is also worth a mention that Anushka along with Katrina Kaif are playing the female leads in SRK’s upcoming movie with director Anand L Rai. The movie, speculated to be titled as Katrina Meri Jaan, will have Shah Rukh Khan as a dwarf.
